Q10: For Healthy Hearts |
-
Over fifty major studies
have shown marked benefits. Low Coenzyme Q10 levels
have been
demonstrated in both coronary artery disease and
acute heart attack.
-
A serious problem with cholesterol-lowering drugs
is that they decrease levels of Coenzyme Q10.
-
More international trials have been conducted on
Coenzyme Q10 than on any cardiovascular drug. The
result has been overwhelming support for the preventive
and treatment roles of Coenzyme Q10.
-
Our coenzyme Q10 is produced
by bacterial fermentation of algae – the
method of choice for producing the most biologically
active product. A variety
of other less costly but inferior
methods are used to produce the coenzyme Q10
used in many other
products.
-
To optimize absorption, we combine 100 mg of absolutely
pure CoQ10 with 400 mg of fat-soluble tocotriene
complex. Tocotrienes, members of the Vitamin E
family, have many cardiovascular and other benefits
of their own. We use the purest and most effective
form of CoQ10 used in thousands of studies throughout
the world.

Is cholesterol the cause of heart disease? A
French study reported in The Lancet in 1989 that
women with low cholesterol had a death rate more
than
five times higher than that of women with very high
cholesterol. In fact, the researchers noted that old
women with very high cholesterol live the longest.
Another group of researchers looked at every study
published about the risk of having high or low cholesterol.
They concluded that mortality was higher for women
with low cholesterol than for women with high cholesterol.
