Gold: The
Richest Source of Activator X” |
Dr.
Price presented evidence in
Nutrition and Physical
Degeneration that a fat-soluble
substance he called “Activator X” played
an essential role in immunity and the utilization of
minerals. He measured the amount in dairy products, and
found that the substance was only found in the milk fat
from cows eating rapidly growing green grass.
Price analyzed over 20,000 samples of
dairy products. He also studied the mortality data from
the various areas.
His conclusion: the number of deaths from heart disease
and pneumonia “…were always found to be lowest
when the vitamin and Activator X content of the dairy
products was highest.” Price made Activator X
butter oil by centrifuging butter to produce oil that
was much
richer in Activator X than whole butter. He always
used the oil in conjunction with high-vitamin cod liver
oil.

Gold is made seasonally from
May through October, from the milk of cows feeding on
rapidly growing pasture.
Rapid growth is the key to the Activator X content,
and irrigation and rotational grazing are the keys
to constant
rapid growth. Eight to nine pounds of cream yield
eight ounces of X-Factor
Gold.
X-Factor
Gold is also rich in conjugated
linoleic acid (CLA), known to enhance muscle growth,
lower
insulin
resistance, and support the immune system; Wulzen “anti-stiffness” Factor,
reported to protect against cataracts and hardening
of the arteries; and butyric acid, important in helping
